  I.  John1 SLATTERY.  According to the obituary of Margaret Slattery Zoll, John Slattery left for the Civil War from Central Park in Jacksonville.  He was described as 5 feet, 5 inches, dark hair, grey eyes, age 40.  He was born circa 1822 at Cahir, Tipperary, Ireland.  He married Mary CUSHEN on 9 Feb 1854 at Sangamon Co., IL.1  He was listed as the head of a family on the 1860 Census at Waverly, Morgan Co., IL.2  He began military service on 14 Aug 1862 at Jacksonville, Morgan Co., IL, 101st Illinois Volunteer Infantry.1  He was released from active duty at Jackson, TN, on 18 Jan 1863.1  He lived circa 1868 at Auburn, Sangamon Co., IL.1  He was listed as the head of a family on the 1870 Census at Takington, Sangamon Co., IL.3  He died on 6 Nov 1874 at Auburn, Sangamon Co., IL.1

1.  Barbara Bellmon3 ZOLL was a member of the Waverly Congregational Church.10  She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star at Chicago, Cook Co., IL.10  She was born on 19 Sep 1881 at Waverly, Morgan Co., IL.11  She graduated in 1899 at Waverly High School, Waverly, Morgan Co., IL.  Barbara Bellmon ZOLL was listed as a daughter in William ZOLL's household on the 1900 Census at Waverly, Morgan Co., IL.6  She married Samuel Tupper SMETTERS, son of Michael SMETTERS and Nancy Ann MCCORMICK, on 7 Mar 1917.11  As of 7 Mar 1917, her married name was SMETTERS.11  She lived circa 22 Nov 1926 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL.5  She was listed as a wife in Samuel Tupper SMETTERS's household on the 1930 Census on 10 Apr 1930 at 61st Street, Chicago, Cook Co., IL.  She lived on 16 Apr 1943 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL.12  She died on 1 Jan 1957 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL, at age 75.11  She was buried after 1 Jan 1957 at Waverly East Cemetery, Waverly, Morgan Co., IL.13

a)  Charles Franklin4 MORRIS Jr was born on 14 May 1908.14  He was listed as a nephew in Samuel Tupper SMETTERS's household in the 1930 Census on 10 Apr 1930 at 61st Street, Chicago, Cook Co., IL.  He began military service circa 1943 at Camp McCoy, WI, Private.12  He married Janet on 18 Apr 1949.  He died circa Jan 1994.14 

3.  Leona Cushen3 ZOLL Leona Zoll Harrison after her divorce was a housekeeper.  She worked for wealthy families and sometimes traveled with them.  Since she moved around a bit, she collected Handkerchiefs.   Her daughter, Mary Eugenia Harrison Krueger, had the handkerchiefs made into a quilt.  John and Arlene Krueger currently have ownership of the quilt.15  She was born on 14 Sep 1887 at Waverly, Morgan Co., IL.  Leona Cushen ZOLL was listed as a daughter in William ZOLL's household on the 1900 Census at Waverly, Morgan Co., IL.6  She married George Chester HARRISON, son of John HARRISON and Hannah Elizabeth FOX, on 26 Jun 1907 at Waverly, Morgan Co., IL.16  Leona was listed as George Chester HARRISON's wife on the 1910 Census at St. Louis, MO.17  She was listed as George Chester HARRISON's wife on the 1920 Census at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.18  She and George Chester HARRISON were divorced after 1924 at Ohio.  She lived circa 22 Nov 1926 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL.5  She was listed as the Head of Family on the 1930 Census Leona is listed as married in this census on 17 Apr 1930 at Kenwood Ave, Chicago, Cook Co., IL.  She lived circa 16 Apr 1943 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL.12  She lived on 1 Jan 1957 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL.10  She died on 18 Aug 1958 at Hearthside Nursing Home, Chicago, Cook Co., IL, at age 70.19  She was buried on 22 Aug 1958 at Waverly East Cemetery, Waverly, Morgan Co., IL. 

a)  Margaret Elizabeth4 HARRISON was born on 18 Jan 1908.  She was listed as a daughter in George Chester HARRISON's household on the 1910 Census at St. Louis, MO.17  As of between 1920 and 1941, her married name was ARTMAN.  She married Oran ARTMAN between 1920 and 1941.  She was listed as a daughter in George Chester HARRISON's household on the 1920 Census at Cleveland, Cuyahoga Co., OH.18  She was listed as a daughter in Leona Cushen ZOLL's household in the 1930 Census Leona is listed as married in this census on 17 Apr 1930 at Kenwood Ave, Chicago, Cook Co., IL.  She lived on 16 Apr 1943 at Chicago, Cook Co., IL.12  She witnessed the death of Sadie NOBLETT on 28 Jul 1956 at Marshall Rest Home, Columbus, Franklin Co., OH.20  She died on 24 Nov 1958 at age 50.

WILLIAMS, daughter of (--?--) WILLIAMS and Mina (--?--), on 14 Dec 1918 at Deming, NM.  He lived circa 22 Nov 1926 at Berkeley, CA.5  He was listed as the Head of Family on the 1930 Census on 2 Apr 1930 at Berkeley City, Alameda Co., CA.  He lived on 4 Dec 1936 at 831 The Alameda, Berkeley, CA.  He and Rosemary Leda ZOLL lived on 16 Apr 1943 at Berkeley, CA.12  He lived on 1 Jan 1957 at Berkeley, CA.10  He died on 15 Feb 1977 at age 87.
