Foy Family

I have "met" several cousins from this line via the internet. They have been a big part of learning more about the Foy family.

Sandy McKee, descendant of Elbert FOY.

Gena Saunders, descendant of James FOY, has a website, Hanging out in the Branches

Linda Hawkins, is a descendant of David Fortner, Louisa's husband.

Louisa Foy is my roadblock in this line.  She appears in the 1850 Census in Anderson Co., TN with two children.  It indicates that she was born in North Carolina.  Based on later information, it appears that she was known as a "lewd woman," as she had four children out of wedlock.  If you have any information on this line, please contact me
